Practising what he preached

Nice to see that, so soon after he was elected following a campaign in which he criticised the blue nest for putting up Council Tax, Councillor Montaut has suggested that us Council-Tax payers pick-up the tab for any additional cleaning that’s required if there’s an increase in activity at Swindon Town Football Club’s ground.

Openness

This doesn’t really come as a surprise. Today my local MP was amongst the hypocrites that voted to exempt themselves from the Freedom of Information Act.

No loud chirping — your warblings should always be calm and polite.
No pecking — personal attacks should be avoided.
No singing to a different tune — your warblings should always be relevant to the posting you are warbling on.
No stealing of eggs — warblings whose main purpose is to point to webpages elsewhere without themselves adding to the discussion are not welcome.
No cuckoo-like behaviour — use your own identity, don’t try to pass yourself off as someone else.

Warblings and warblers that do not conform to the above policy may be ejected from the nest without warning.
